Autogenerated CTD salinity and CTD oxygen update
Automated update! This overwrites adjustment values (and flags) of CTDoxy and
CTDsal with the values from BOTsal and BOToxy for every cruise, unless CTDsal
(or CTDoxy) is not present or bad.
Salinity action ID:2; CTD salinity data good, setting CTD salinity offset and QC
flag to bottle values.
Oxygen action ID:3; no CTD oxygen data. Setting CTD oxygen offset to -999, QC
flag removed.

Autogenerated comment - tCO2
Auto-uploaded comment from GLODAPv2 assessment by Steven van Heuven (src:
GLODAPv2_ATL_for_Carsten.xls / 2015-01-08): : Maintain 0. Cruise is region of
strong trends, and seems to fall approximately on the trend line.

06MT19990711 - tco2
The average of all cross overs (manual) is -1.33.
The average of all cross overs (automatic) is -1.46.
Crossovers with core cruises only suggests offsets of -0.18(manual) and
-1.28(automatic)
Inversion also suggests no adjustment (1.42 and 0.41 for WLSQ and WDLSQ,
respectively).
Both manual and automatic results fall within limits.
Inversion results give similar results to crossovers.
Based on this I don't suggest any adjustment for the 06MT19990711 tco2 values.

There are 7 xovers. The fitted offset is 1.1. The suggested adjustment is 0
Most of residuals close to 0.
Very good fit with 4 core cruises.

All xovers and output of inversions are refered on figure: "Report plot for
adjustments"
Real diff (Green dots) are the differences taken directly from xover routines.
The complete segment of error bar represents the xover standard deviation.
Yellow line stand for the offset calculated for this cruise.
Black stars stand for the offset calculated for the others cruises in the
xovers.
Blue squares stand for the Fitted differences that would be obtained from the
calculated offsets (Yellow line - black stars)
Red dots stand for the Residuals between the 'Real diff'(Green dots) and 'Fitted
diff' (Blue squares)
c suffix in the upper X axis labels stand for Core Cruises.

The crossover analysis and inversion of the adjusted data very constantly
suggest thatthis cruise needs an upward adjustment. The mean of all crossovers
is 0.96 and the inversion suggest an upward adjustment of 1.04, which is
consistent with the mean. An adjustment of 1.04 is therefore applied.

Original pH scale changed to TS22 (Total Scale at 22º),
This an increment on 1º on the previously supposed scale, and results in pH
SWS25 increased in 0.014, so the correction now should be -0.0045, but the
adjustment for the cruise is set to 0 as this value is below the 0.005 boundary

There are 6 xovers. The fitted offset is +0.010 The suggested adjustment is

Except 2, all residuals are very low and fits inside +-0.002.
Very good fit with 2 core cruises.

Red dots stand for the Residuals between the 'Real diff'(Green dots) and 'Fitted

c suffix in the upper X axis labels stand for Core Cruises.
d preffix in the upper X axis labels stand for pH determined with Alk and TCO2
using the CO2SYS routines and the Mehr'73 ctes fitted by Dick&Mill'87.
expocode ids in upper X axis stand for NA ids or SO_ids+10000 for avoiding

The average of all cross overs is 0.955.
The P/N ratio is 15.47, intercept 0.03.
The inversions suggest an upward adjustment of 1.05.
The cross-overs with the core cruises do notsupport that an adjustment is
warranted, even though the scatter

Based on these evidence I suggest no adjustment.

The average of all cross overs is 0.974.
The inversions suggest an upward adjustment of 1.04 and 1.06 for WLSQ and WDLSQ,
repsectively.
However, the cross-overs with the core cruises do not support that an adjustment
is warranted.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment to the silicate values.

The average of all cross-over is 1.006
The inversion suggests an adjustment of 0.986 (WDLSQ) and 0.982 (WLSQ).
The cross-overs with core cruise especially 316N19970717 and 316N20030923 reveal
that this cruise is bit higher in oxygen.
Base on this, i suggest an adjustment of 0.986
Zürich, 2008.06.11
During the meeting in Paris we agreed to an adjustment of 0.99

Becker et al. 2016:
These cruises are also known as M45-2 and M45-3. Since
both were analyzed together, they were summarized for this
crossover study. The inversion suggested a correction of
-0.15 ‰, and the mean offset of all crossovers was 0.16‰
too high. After applying this adjustment and comparing this
cruise to the adjusted dataset, the inversion routine still
suggested a small correction. Therefore, an adjustment of
-0.20‰ was applied.

The average of all cross overs (manual) is -1.33.
The average of all cross overs (automatic) is -1.46.
Crossovers with core cruises only suggests offsets of -0.18(manual) and

Inversion also suggests no adjustment (1.42 and 0.41 for WLSQ and WDLSQ,
respectively).
Both manual and automatic results fall within limits.
Inversion results give similar results to crossovers.
Based on this I don't suggest any adjustment for the 06MT19990711 tco2 values.
