Autogenerated CTD salinity and CTD oxygen update
Automated update! This overwrites adjustment values (and flags) of CTDoxy and
CTDsal with the values from BOTsal and BOToxy for every cruise, unless CTDsal
(or CTDoxy) is not present or bad.
Salinity action ID:2; CTD salinity data good, setting CTD salinity offset and QC
flag to bottle values.
Oxygen action ID:3; no CTD oxygen data. Setting CTD oxygen offset to -999, QC
flag removed.

06MT20040311 - tco2
06MT20040311
tco2
The average of all cross overs (manual) is 1.15.
The average of all cross overs (automatic) is 0.73.
Crossovers with core cruises only suggests offsets of 0.58(manual) and
0.49(automatic) - omitting result from 29HE19920714 crossover
Inversion also suggests no adjustment (0.83 and -0.14 for WLSQ and WDLSQ,
respectively).
This cruise is itself defined as a core cruise - the crossover results support
this.
Both manual and automatic results and inversion fall within limits.
Based on this I don't suggest any adjustment for the 06MT20040311 tco2 values.

GLODAPv2_ATL_for_Carsten.xls / 2015-01-08): : make +4. This important cruise is
clearly ~4 low against several 'core' cruises (29HE20130320, 316N20030922,
316N20031023, 33AT20120324, 33RO19980123, 33RO20030604 (only ~2.5 low against
that one though)).

There are 15 xovers. The fitted offset is 3.6. The suggested adjustment is 0
All residuals are low and fits inside +-5.
Very good fit with 8 GLODAP cruises. However, some of them seems to suggest a
high offset.

All xovers and output of inversions are refered on figure: "Report plot for
adjustments"
Real diff (Green dots) are the differences taken directly from xover routines.
The complete segment of error bar represents the xover standard deviation.
Yellow line stand for the offset calculated for this cruise.
Black stars stand for the offset calculated for the others cruises in the
xovers.
Blue squares stand for the Fitted differences that would be obtained from the
calculated offsets (Yellow line - black stars)
Red dots stand for the Residuals between the 'Real diff'(Green dots) and 'Fitted
diff' (Blue squares)
c suffix in the upper X axis labels stand for Core Cruises.

06MT20040311 - nitrate
The average of all cross overs is 0.98, suggesting that 06MT20040311 nitrate is
a little bit on the low side,
but not enough to do an adjustment.
The inversion suggest no adjustment.
The cross over results for core-cruises all confirm that 06MT20040311 is OK.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment for nitrate.

The average of all cross overs is 0.994.
The inversions suggest no adjustment.
The cross-overs with other core cruises do not support that an adjustment is
warranted.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment to the oxygen values.

Becker et al. 2016:
The inversion Routine indicates that the 13C-DIC data of this cruise are 0.10‰
too low. Additionally, the mean offset as well as the MLR analysis shows that
these data are too low. An adjustment of 0.10‰ was applied.

Auto-uploaded comment from GLODAPv2 assessment by Steven van Heuven (src:
GLODAPv2_ATL_for_Carsten.xls / 2015-01-08): : make -777. Extreme scatter from
station to station, plus a 4-5% high bias. Recommend -777. MT20040311
(TTO-revisited) PO4 seems to drift against 31AN1981 and DI74AB2005, which do not
drift against each other. Westernmost stations of MT04 are extremely too high
(+10-20%), while stations around 55oW are fine, but easternmost stations are way
high again.

06MT20040311 - phosphate
The crossover analysis of the adjusted data suggest that this cruise was
adjusted too much. The average of the crossovers is 0.96 and the inversion
suggest an adjustment of 1.04.
Based on this the adjustment was changed to 0.97

06MT20040311 - silicate
The average of all cross overs is 1.018, suggesting that the silicate values are
good.
The inversion suggest an adjustment of 0.989.
The cross over results with core-cruises confirm that the silicate values for
06MT20040311 are good.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment for silicate for 06MT20040311.

06MT20040311 - phosphate
The average of all cross overs is 1.045, suggesting that the phosphate is a
little bit on the high side.
The metadata states that the quality of the phosphate measurements were not so
good.
The N/P ratio is 14.19, intercept 0.28.
The inversion suggest an adjustment of 0.93.
The cross over results with core-cruises confirm that the phosphate values for
06MT20040311 are too high.
Based on this I suggest an adjustment of 0.94 for phosphate.

The average of all cross overs is 0.98, suggesting that 06MT20040311 nitrate is

The inversion suggest no adjustment.
The cross over results for core-cruises all confirm that 06MT20040311 is OK.
