Autogenerated CTD salinity and CTD oxygen update
Automated update! This overwrites adjustment values (and flags) of CTDoxy and
CTDsal with the values from BOTsal and BOToxy for every cruise, unless CTDsal
(or CTDoxy) is not present or bad.
Salinity action ID:5; CTD salinity data good, setting CTD salinity offset and QC
flag to bottle values.
Oxygen action ID:7; CTD oxygen data are bad, setting CTD oxygen offset to -777
and remove QC flag.

GLODAPv2_ATL_for_Carsten.xls / 2015-01-08): : Maintain 0. Cruise is region of

18HU19930617
tco2
The average of all cross overs (manual) is -1.63.
The average of all cross overs (automatic) is -2.51.
Crossovers with core cruises only suggests offsets of -1.11(manual) and
-1.43(automatic)
Inversion suggests no adjustment (1.94 and 0.89 for WLSQ and WDLSQ,
respectively).
Manual and automatic results fall within limits.
Inversion results also suggests no adjustment.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment for the 18HU19930617 tco2 values.

Auto-uploaded comment from GLODAPv2 assessment by Steven van Heuven (src:
GLODAPv2_ATL_for_Carsten.xls / 2015-01-08): : make 1.02. Hard to quantify
exactly, because LabSea is terribly noisy (analytically even more than
hydrographically). However, cruise is a reasonable match with MT20030723, which
gets +3%, so at least the direction of adjustment is correct.

18HU19930617 - phosphate
This is the WOCE section across the Labrador Sea. Only few cross-overs are
available.
The average of all cross overs is 0.977, suggesting that the phosphate values
are good.
The inversion suggest an adjustment of 1.008.
The cross over results with core-cruises confirm that the phosphate values are
good..
Based on this I suggest no adjustment for phosphate for 18HU19930617.

18HU19930617 - nitrate
The Nitrate data was added very late to the database, so the nitrate values for
this cruise did not influence any other cruise in the secondary QC procdure.
However, the values of this cruise was checked vs. the adjusted CARINA database.
There are 5 valid crossovers and the mean offset is 0.995. There is thus no need
to suggest any adjustments to this cruise.

The average of all cross overs is 0.989.
The inversions suggest no adjustment (1.004 WDLSQ and 1.002 WLSQ).
The cross-overs with the core cruises do not support that an adjustment is
warranted.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment to the oxygen values.

18HU19930617 - silicate
This is the WOCE section across the Labrador Sea. Only few cross-overs are
available.
The average of all cross overs is 1.007, suggesting that the silicate values are
good.
The inversion suggest an adjustment of 1.014.
The cross over results with core-cruises confirm that the silicate values are
good.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment for silicate for 18HU19930617.

18HU19930617 - tco2
18HU19930617
tco2
The average of all cross overs (manual) is -1.63.
The average of all cross overs (automatic) is -2.51.
Crossovers with core cruises only suggests offsets of -1.11(manual) and
-1.43(automatic)
Inversion suggests no adjustment (1.94 and 0.89 for WLSQ and WDLSQ,
respectively).
Manual and automatic results fall within limits.
Inversion results also suggests no adjustment.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment for the 18HU19930617 tco2 values.

18HU19930617 - oxygen
The average of all cross overs is 0.989.
The inversions suggest no adjustment (1.004 WDLSQ and 1.002 WLSQ).
The cross-overs with the core cruises do not support that an adjustment is
warranted.
Based on this I suggest no adjustment to the oxygen values.
