scattered (up to 25 umolkg apart from others). Note that most Hudson TA data are
of mediocre quality at best. There appear to be occasional calibration breaks
between the southern shelfbreak leg and the main Labrador Sea leg, and data are
generally exceedingly noisy.

Bulk update requested by Anton Velo on 2015-06-04 including comments with
reasoning (src: ph_adjustments_g2_sent_carsten_20150604.xlsx / 2015-06-04):
Adjusted by -0.039 to put pH data into trend. pH data seems not to have more
scatter than surrounding cruises. Xovers/inversions were done with calculated
TALK from TCO2(QCed) and pH. Cruise is at Labrador Sea, but pH values are not in
trend. Comparison with previous 18HU2009 and subsequent 19HU2011 cruises do
support the -0.039 offset. Probably, the pH offset was generated by
interconsistency with measured TALK, that was flagged -777 in G2 due to some
issues

Autogenerated update by AV for pH
Bulk update requested by Anton Velo on 2015-06-04 including comments with
reasoning (src: ph_adjustments_g2_sent_carsten_20150604.xlsx / 2015-06-04):
Adjusted by -0.039 to put pH data into trend. pH data seems not to have more
scatter than surrounding cruises. Xovers/inversions were done with calculated
TALK from TCO2(QCed) and pH. Cruise is at Labrador Sea, but pH values are not in
trend. Comparison with previous 18HU2009 and subsequent 19HU2011 cruises do
support the -0.039 offset. Probably, the pH offset was generated by
interconsistency with measured TALK, that was flagged -777 in G2 due to some
issues
