GLODAPv2 Adjustment IND and PAC_SvH_20140611.xlsx): : make +4. The extreme
precision of (US only) cruises in this region allows this. The extreme stability
over time helps too. In the GLODAPv2 Pacific QC2 analysis, WOCE cruises
33MW19900222 (erratum:32MB19900222) 31DS19910307 316N19921006 316N19921204
appear to be biased slightly low. The recent Japanese cruises 49UP20100706 and
49RY20120726 appear biased slightly high (the evidence for a similar bias of
49NZ20081011's bias is insufficient). Between them, these cruises suggest an
abyssal DIC trend that most likely does not exist. Although the biases are
within the formal adjustment dead band (-4 to +4), we decided to very
delibrately adjust these nonetheless. This considerations will be discussed in
the accompanying journal article.

EDIT 2015-SEP-01: Set adjustment for ALK to +0 (it was -999 earlier - not sure
why). Data are accurate, although there is a rather suprising ~4 umol/kg offset
with 320620110219. At most other crossovers, 316N19921206 is unbiased, but
32062011 is also unbiased at its serveral xovers! Real-world change? Not likely
- the difference profiles is almost exactly vertical, whereas real world changes
would be wavey.

Auto-uploaded comment from GLODAPv2 assessment by Steven van Heuven (src:
GLODAPv2 Adjustment IND and PAC_SvH_20140611.xlsx): : make +4. The extreme
precision of (US only) cruises in this region allows this. The extreme stability
over time helps too. In the GLODAPv2 Pacific QC2 analysis, WOCE cruises
33MW19900222 (erratum:32MB19900222) 31DS19910307 316N19921006 316N19921204
appear to be biased slightly low. The recent Japanese cruises 49UP20100706 and
49RY20120726 appear biased slightly high (the evidence for a similar bias of
49NZ20081011's bias is insufficient). Between them, these cruises suggest an
abyssal DIC trend that most likely does not exist. Although the biases are
within the formal adjustment dead band (-4 to +4), we decided to very
delibrately adjust these nonetheless. This considerations will be discussed in
the accompanying journal article.

Based on 4 different cross-overs with no significant deviation I suggest no
adjustment for salinity
