similarly for all legs, based on the offsets of the legs with acceptable xovers,
at the time leg 5, 6 and 7 for PO4. These were offset by 0.97, adjust all legs
by 1.03. Reassuringly, Stevens xovers of unadjusted data confirms this for leg
1.

At Groningen workshop Oct 2013, we decided to adjust GEOSECS Pacific nutrients
similarly for all legs, based on the offsets of the legs with acceptable xovers,
at the time leg 5 and 6. These were offset by 1.03, adjust all legs by 0.97.
Reassuringly, Stevens xovers of unadjusted data confirms this for leg 1.

DIC and Alkalinity
We decided to follow the recommendations published in Peng et al., (2003), DSR
for DIC and TA adjustments for the Pacific legs of GEOSECS.

Overall there are not enough good crossovers to do a proper analysis. This is
true for 6 out of 10 of the GEOSECS legs. I would not adjust anything other
than tco2 and alk which are clearly offset. I suggest we use the same
adjustment for tco2 and alk on all GEOSECS Pacfic cruises. No adjustments were
applied to this leg in GLODAP, except a -3.6 on salinity.
