(from ~5% too high in south to ~~5% to low in north) compared the 3 other
occupations of this A16N (1993 2003 2013, latter not part of this product), see
"A16 PO4 inconsistencies.pdf".

20 crossovers. The correction and offset are opposite, but this is because quite
a few of the cruises it is compared with are biased. I suggest that we follow

southernmost stations are about 15% too high, need flagging BAD. These stations
were ignored in my analysis, which resulted in a wholly different recommendation
than that of CARINA / Gv1.2. Nonetheless, the whole PO4 set is scrapped: this
cruise has an unacceptable strong latitudinal gradient in its PO4 measurements
(from ~5% too high in south to ~~5% to low in north) compared the 3 other
occupations of this A16N (1993 2003 2013, latter not part of this product), see
"A16 PO4 inconsistencies.pdf".

The inversion suggested correction was 0.9749, and mean offset 0.965, based on
20 crossovers. The correction and offset are opposite, but this is because quite
a few of the cruises it is compared with are biased. I suggest that we follow
inversion and suggest an adjustment of 0.98.
