Auto-uploaded comment from GLODAPv2 assessment by Steven van Heuven (src:
GLODAPv2 Adjustment IND and PAC_SvH_20140611.xlsx): : make 1.00. Although hard
to pin down exactly, cruise is clearly enough very close to accurate for SIL.
Cruises 33RR19971020, 320619960830 and 33RR19971202 must get the same adjustment
due to close match (in density space! this is right at the front!). Listed
adjustment for SIL for this cruise additionally contains a pre-adjustment of -1%
(default for all US Pacific SIL data).

Was not adjusted for Beta product.
Inversion of Beta product suggested -6 adjustment. It has two crossovers, with
31DS19960115 and 33RR19971020.
The alkalinity data from former of these is certainly high, inversion of Beta
suggested -5 and several of its xovers confirms.
The latter is 2 lower than 31RR19971202, so totally that cruise settles below
the limit.
Recommend an adjustment of 6 umol/kg to tie it to the 31DS cruise and more data
in the Pacific.

given -888 (not considered)

33RR19971202 - alkalinity - (current GLODAPv2/GLODAPv1.2 comment)
Was not adjusted for Beta product.
Inversion of Beta product suggested -6 adjustment. It has two crossovers, with
31DS19960115 and 33RR19971020.
The alkalinity data from former of these is certainly high, inversion of Beta
suggested -5 and several of its xovers confirms.
The latter is 2 lower than 31RR19971202, so totally that cruise settles below
the limit.
Recommend an adjustment of 6 umol/kg to tie it to the 31DS cruise and more data
in the Pacific.

There is only one crossover for this cruise (two for salinity and tco2). It is
not possible to recommend any adjustment based on this so all parameters are
given -888 (not considered)

Automated update! This overwrites adjustment values (and flags) of CTDoxy and
CTDsal with the values from BOTsal and BOToxy for every cruise, unless CTDsal
(or CTDoxy) is not present or bad.
Salinity action ID:3; no CTD salinity data. Setting CTD salinity offset to -999,
QC flag removed.
Oxygen action ID:3; no CTD oxygen data. Setting CTD oxygen offset to -999, QC

Autogenerated CTD salinity and CTD oxygen update - (current GLODAPv2/GLODAPv1.2 comment)
Setting CTD oxygen offset to -999, QC
flag removed.

Auto-uploaded comment from GLODAPv2 assessment by Steven van Heuven (src:
GLODAPv2 Adjustment IND and PAC_SvH_20140611.xlsx): : make 1.00. Has very good
match with 31DS19960105, after that gets adjusted 0.985, and nicely matches the
other 33RR1997 cruises here.

33RR19971202 - alkalinity - (current GLODAPv2/GLODAPv1.2 comment)
Was not adjusted for Beta product.
Inversion of Beta product suggested -6 adjustment. It has two crossovers, with
31DS19960115 and 33RR19971020.
The alkalinity data from former of these is certainly high, inversion of Beta
suggested -5 and several of its xovers confirms.
The latter is 2 lower than 31RR19971202, so totally that cruise settles below
the limit.
Recommend an adjustment of 6 umol/kg to tie it to the 31DS cruise and more data
in the Pacific.

general - (current GLODAPv2/GLODAPv1.2 comment)
There is only one crossover for this cruise (two for salinity and tco2). It is
not possible to recommend any adjustment based on this so all parameters are
given -888 (not considered)
