Autogenerated CTD salinity and CTD oxygen update
Automated update! This overwrites adjustment values (and flags) of CTDoxy and
CTDsal with the values from BOTsal and BOToxy for every cruise, unless CTDsal
(or CTDoxy) is not present or bad.
Salinity action ID:3; no CTD salinity data. Setting CTD salinity offset to -999,
QC flag removed.
Oxygen action ID:3; no CTD oxygen data. Setting CTD oxygen offset to -999, QC
flag removed.

58GS20030922 - tco2
This cruise had several stations in a sub mesoscale coherent vortex - an eddy -
with mixing of surface values down to 2500 m. All of these data were removed
prior to the Nordic Seas analyses.
Crossover and inversions showed that data were good, see Nordic Seas summary
document at http://carboocean.ifm-geomar.de/postings/list
The profiles, page 13 of summary document shows fine data.
Here I have uoloaded inversion results for autogenerated crossovers with TTO
included.
No adjustment recommended.

Average offsets from xovers with Core Cruises:

Inversion Results:

Comments: This cruise crosses over with poor quality cruises. One xover with 50
suggests its tco2 are low by 5. Another with 52 suggests it is high by 5 and one
with 49 (after its suggested adjustment of -9) suggests it's about right…
There are no xovers with core cruises. This variability suggests it is not
possible to make an adjustment to this cruise.
"Since the data seems good and offsets are almost within our 4 uml/kg limit, I
suggest making no adjustment."
Suggested adjustment: 0

58GS20030922 - c13
Becker et al. 2016:
This cruise has only two very weak crossovers: one with
the Transient Tracers in the Oceans (TTO) data, which took
place 30 years earlier, and one with 74JC20120601. When
comparing cruise 58GS20030922 to the latter, the offset
seems to be consistent with an increasing lightening of the DIC caused by an
increasing amount of anthropogenic carbon,
which decreases with increasing depth. However, the
crossover with the TTO data is not consistent with this.
Therefore, no adjustment was applied.
