Tricky decisions knowing the evolution in the Greenland Sea deep waters during
the last decade, making deep convection more likely after 2005. Nevertheless,
the surface saturation is very high (~120%), consistent with CFC11. The xovers
for the CARINA cruises in 2002, especially, show an offset between 10 and 15%.
From all this together I recommend to adjust the CFC12 data with 0.90.

Tricky decisions knowing the evolution in the Greenland Sea deep waters during
the last decade, making deep convection more likely after 2005. Nevertheless,
the surface saturation is very high (~120%), consistent with CFC11. The xovers
for the CARINA cruises in 2002, especially, show an offset between 10 and 15%.
From all this together I recommend to adjust the CFC12 data with 0.90.

The deep eddy/gyre observed in 2003 (58GS20030922) seems to give very large
offsets for the nutrients on this cruise. I have therefore chosen to not weigh
the 2003 GS cruise very high when determining adjustments for this cruise.
There is definitively a temporal signal in salinity, silicate, and oxygen. The
offsets are constant with depth so this trend does not change by setting a
deeper cutoff depth for the xovers. In some cases the offsets even increase
with depth
