Only 2 cross-overs.
Comparison with Geosecs (which got an adjustment by -10) suggests that this
cruise may be 6 too high.
We suggest the minimum adjustment -6.

There is only 1 statistically usable cross-overs (with cruise 29HE19951203)

Inversion analysis suggests an insignificant adjustment (1.017).
Additional evidence from cross-over with GEOSECS_ATLANTIC seems to support that
no adjustment is needed.
I suggest NO adjustment of phosphate for cruise 29HE19960117.

For GLODAPv2 we have more data. In particular, the SI values from this cruise is
similar to the ones from 06MT19900123, which receives an adjustment of 0.97. The
xover with 29HE19951203 indicates that the 96 data are 5% low. Recommend
adjustment of 0.97.

There two usable cross-overs (with cruise 29HE19951203 and Geosecs Atlantic)
where cruise 29HE19960117 is high by 0.893 and 0.93
Confirmation is found from a silicate versus potential temperature plot of all
Weddell Sea data, which also shows that silicate of 29HE19960117 is too high.
I thus propose an adjustment of 0.93 for silicate of 29HE19960117

against 740H20090203 which is good against 06AQ2005-8-10. QC1: one of the two
deep profiles on this one is suspiciously high (>140 below 2500m).

resasonable xover is with 740H20090203 which is ~1% higher and which gets a
clear -2%. That makes this cruise 1% too high, which is within norm

29HE19960117 - silicate
For GLODAPv2 we have more data. In particular, the SI values from this cruise is
similar to the ones from 06MT19900123, which receives an adjustment of 0.97. The
xover with 29HE19951203 indicates that the 96 data are 5% low. Recommend
adjustment of 0.97.

29HE19960117 - alkalinity
Only 2 cross-overs.
Comparison with Geosecs (which got an adjustment by -10) suggests that this
cruise may be 6 too high.
We suggest the minimum adjustment -6.

29HE19960117 - salinity
Only 1 statistically usable cross-over with cruise 29HE19951203.

29HE19960117 - oxygen
There is only 1 statistically usable cross-overs (with cruise 29HE19951203)
where cruise 29HE19960117 is low by 1.019
Inversion analysis suggests an insignificant adjustment (1.009).
Cross-over with cruise GEOSECS_ATLANTIC (though not statistically usable) seems
to support that no adjustment is needed.
I suggest NO adjustment of oxygen for cruise 29HE19960117.

29HE19960117 - silicate
There two usable cross-overs (with cruise 29HE19951203 and Geosecs Atlantic)
where cruise 29HE19960117 is high by 0.893 and 0.93
Confirmation is found from a silicate versus potential temperature plot of all
Weddell Sea data, which also shows that silicate of 29HE19960117 is too high.
I thus propose an adjustment of 0.93 for silicate of 29HE19960117

29HE19960117 - phosphate
There is only 1 statistically usable cross-overs (with cruise 29HE19951203)
where cruise 29HE19960117 is low by 1.0334
Inversion analysis suggests an insignificant adjustment (1.017).
Additional evidence from cross-over with GEOSECS_ATLANTIC seems to support that
no adjustment is needed.
I suggest NO adjustment of phosphate for cruise 29HE19960117.

29HE19960117 - nitrate
There are no statistically usable cross-overs.
So I cannot suggest any adjustment.
