Phosphate data in this area are terrible offset from cruise to cruise. The
situation is so bad that I am not able to pick by eye one or more cruises that
may serve as a reference. I have opted to let an inversion bring the cruises to
a common level. Various inversion (local, Indian, full Southern Ocean) all
suggest adjustments between -1% to +0%. Opting to no adjust. Maintaining the
0.98 that Siv suggested based on xovers I believe to be too arbitrary -- a
solution here must involve some sort of 'holistic' method (e.g., inversion).

situation is so bad that I am not able to pick by eye one or more cruises that
may serve as a reference. I have opted to let an inversion bring the cruises to
a common level. Various inversion (local, Indian, full Southern Ocean) all
suggest adjustments between -1% to +0%. Opting to no adjust. Maintaining the
0.98 that Siv suggested based on xovers I believe to be too arbitrary -- a
solution here must involve some sort of 'holistic' method (e.g., inversion).
