Autogenerated CTD salinity and CTD oxygen update
Automated update! This overwrites adjustment values (and flags) of CTDoxy and
CTDsal with the values from BOTsal and BOToxy for every cruise, unless CTDsal
(or CTDoxy) is not present or bad.
Salinity action ID:2; CTD salinity data good, setting CTD salinity offset and QC
flag to bottle values.
Oxygen action ID:3; no CTD oxygen data. Setting CTD oxygen offset to -999, QC
flag removed.

As for other ridge cruises and parameteres, this is given a -888, given that the
large variability makes secondary QC less meaningful

34AR19970805 - phosphate
The decision of the AMS group is over ruled by Are Olsen and Toste Tanhua. The
reason is that even if the adjustment process is difficult in this area, the
offsets for nutrients are large and the reason is shore based analysis of the
nutrients. With a "not concidered" flag, that information would get lost.

34AR19970805 - phosphate
Nutrients for this cruise poisoned with chloroform and measured ashore.
The average of all cross overs is 0.926.
The WDLSQ inversion suggest an adjustment of 1.04 for both WLSQ and WDLSQ.
The cross-overs with core-cruises confirms that an adjustment is necessary.
Based on these evidence I suggest an adjustment of 1.04, in agreement with the
inversions.

34AR19970805 - silicate
Nutrients for this cruise poisoned with chloroform and measured ashore.
The average of all cross overs is 0.854.
The WDLSQ inversion suggest an adjustment of 1.15 for both WLSQ and WDLSQ.
The cross-overs with core-cruises confirms that an adjustment is necessary.
Based on these evidence I suggest an adjustment of 1.15, in agreement with the
inversions.

The average of all cross-overs is 1.012 with one outliers pushing up the

The inversion suggests no adjustment.
This cruise s in area of high variability.
The cross-overs with core cruise confirm no adjustment.
Base on this, I suggest no adjustment for this cruise.

34AR19970805 - silicate
The decision of the AMS group is over ruled by Are Olsen and Toste Tanhua. The
reason is that even if the adjustment process is difficult in this area, the
offsets for nutrients are large and the reason is shore based analysis of the
nutrients. With a "not concidered" flag, that information would get lost.
